Carnegie Hall Debut

Dan Flanagan, violin
An entire recital of solo violin pieces inspired by paintings and sculptures. Every piece on the program will be a world premiere, commissioned or composed by Dan Flanagan, with images of the art projected during the performance, designed by Nancy Johnson.
Composers include Libby Larsen, Nathaniel Stookey, Jim Stephenson, Trevor Weston, Evan Price, Shinji Eshima, Jose Gonzalez Granero, Maya Hynninen, Peter Josheff, Linda Marcel, David Mecionis, Catherine Neville, Jacques Desjardins, Cindy Cox, Michael Panther, Edmund Campion, Emily Onderdonk, Jessica Mays and
Dan Flanagan.
Artists include Paul Gibson, Albert-Marie Lebourg, Armand Guillaumin, Nikki Vismara, Robert Antoine Pinchon, Jean-Louis Forain, Rachel Dwan, Carrington Arredondo, Paulémile Pissarro, Elaine Pratt, Nina Fabunmi, Sean O'Donnell, Peter Canty, Joaquin Turner, Ludovic Rodo Pissarro, Victoria Veedell, Albert Malet and Susan Bostrom-Wong.
